Hello Everyone,
We are so excited to tell you about new developments with our business.
We have been “The Crafty Chicks” for a couple of years now and have had so much fun and learnt so much along the way. We have also loved meeting everyone when we are out and about at Fairs and Markets and really loved reading the great comments left on our Facebook page.
We are so pleased to have evolved during this time and kept up to date with our customer’s requirements by branching out from Handbags (which will always be our first love) to soft furnishings, lamps, lampshades ….and, for those who have been following us on our Facebook page, to some really random sewing requests!!!
The Crafty Chicks have served us really well but we now feel it is the right time to rebrand to make sure we remain current.
All of our items are hand made by us in the South Hams, home of the UK’s first plastic free town, Modbury. We are fortunate to have been chosen by a local company to take the fabric that they no longer require for their projects for us to use to create fabulous bags and soft furnishings … from fabric that could have been destined for landfill. These items are all available from our webpage and also at our regular Fairs, Markets and Regattas and we will be making a contribution to “Surfers against Sewage, whose aim is tackling plastic pollution and protecting the UK’s coastlines for all to enjoy safely and sustainably, for every item sold
Our new brand name is “So! Handmade in Devon”
